We are supposed to have a seperation of Church and State, yet those who serve on juries inevitably bring mountains of Church to the Executive branch. In this case, that importation is obvious. Usually, I suspect, it is far more subtle.

The law, in theory, protects me from religiously biased laws, but how well can it protect me from religiously biased conviction?
