It also means ensuring that there's a solid plan to bring them home safely and timely. It's not really accurate to blame President Bush for all of this since he's more a puppet of the beaurocrats than a leader, and Congress voted for the war so they need to help end it too. The whole affair has been a big disappointment and I hope the new president will be able to resolve the issue. I agree that supporting the troops means more than being a cheerleader.
