While the US rabidly fights its war on terror around the world, it defends its right to commit terrorist acts with equal mouth foaming furor.
The United States will not meet any request by Italy to extradite 26 Americans, most thought to be CIA agents, to stand trial over the kidnapping of a Muslim cleric, the State Department’s legal adviser said on Wednesday.
It may sound harsh but the United States is protecting CIA agents– 26 of them– from trail on charges for activities that are virtually everywhere, including within the United States itself. But terrorism?
Kidnapping is a staple of terrorist activity. It is a favorite. So is torture. Torture, you see, has no real intelligence value. Its value is in the fear it creates. Fear == terror. Thus, terrorism.

Prosecutors say a CIA-led team, with SISMI’s help, grabbed terrorism suspect Hassan Mustafa Osama Nasr, also known as Abu Omar, off a Milan street in February 2003, bundled him into a van and drove him to a military base in northern Italy.
