Open Minded Bloggers: My Five
posted in General by themaiden |Over the weekend I was awarded an Open Minded Blogger Award. From the award’s homepage:
This award is given to Blogs that demonstrate respect towards others, research and consideration of opposing views, free-flowing conversation with commenters, and an overall spirit of civility and openness. It is time we recognize such commendable behavior on the internet.
I am honored.
The award’s creator has asked that each winner pass the award along to five new winners. Again from the award’s homepage:
- Feel free to put the Award badge on your website side menu or wherever works best
- Link to this page so that people can easily find the origin of the Award
- Write a post on your blog linking to five blogs that you believe blog with an open mind
The award looks like…
I put mine on my “About” page for now. I may move it as I do some cleaning up.
I wasted a lot of time this morning fighting over the decisions, as I’d like to give the award to one or two more than five, but I’ve narrowed things down so in no particular order, my choices:
- Nullifidian, whose author frequents this blog and who runs a fine blog of his own.
- DeepThough, who stands on the other side of the aisle from me on a number of things but who seems deserving of this prize.
- VirusHead… because language is a virus.
- Philosophy Hurts Your Head, for the authors truly amazing ability– far in excess of my own– to respond nicely to pretentious lunacy.
- Dyre Portents, interesting… informative…
Winners can head to the Award’s Homepage for more instruction.
