The Good, the Bad, the Panty Flinging

Panty flinging has always seemed like a power enhancer to me. It kinda ramps my up, really, when girls throw their fundies at me. Of course, I’m not superstitious junta leader.

Women in several countries have begun sending their panties to Myanmar embassies in a culturally insulting gesture of protest against the recent brutal crackdown there, a campaign supporter said Friday.

“It’s an extremely strong message in Burmese and in all Southeast Asian culture,” said Liz Hilton, who supports an activist group that launched the “Panties for Peace” drive earlier this week.

Islam Turns Teen Boys into Dancing Girl Love Bunnies

I found this article, “Afghan boy dancers sexually abused by former warlords“, about the bacha bereesh in Afghanistan by following a link from the quite obviously anti-Islam site, TheReligionofPeace– Islam: The Religion of Peace (and a big stack of dead bodies). One would think then that the link would direct to a condemnation of Islam– “Islam supports raping young boys”, that kind of thing. After all, the bacha bereesh are young boys dressed up as girls, fake breasts and all, who dance for rich men, then have sex with them. In fact the link at TheReligionofPeace is dressed up with “An article on the truly disgusting practice of exploiting young boys for sex. This happens to be in Afghanistan, where journaists are focused these days, but it is also common in other parts of the Islamic world where the sexes are segregated.” Oh… common in parts of the Islamic world. Oh, ok. Clearly Islam is too blame. Except…

Jeb vs. the BBC

The video is from 2006. It isn’t new, but it isn’t really old news either, especially with another election coming.

Things to watch for in the film:

  • Telling, though circumstantial, is the reaction of Clayton Roberts to questions early in the video, about time 1:30.
  • Database Technologies, a company with ties to the Republican Party (7:25), created voter lists that were used to exclude Florida voters.
    • They were paid millions for ‘manual checking’ of names. This was never done (4:00).

Ron Paul gets a hot endorsement

And not from Nazis either!

Actually, this one I can’t really hold against him.

Dennis Hof, owner of the Moonlite BunnyRanch near Carson City, says he was so impressed after hearing Paul at a campaign stop in Reno last week that he decided to raise money for him.
