I never got to it earlier so…

Fighting them over there so we don’t have to butcher civilians here

Rep. John Murtha, an influential Pennsylvania lawmaker and outspoken critic of the war in Iraq, said today Marines had “killed innocent civilians in cold blood” after allegedly responding to a roadside bomb ambush that killed a Marine during a patrol in Haditha, Iraq, Nov. 19.

All is well in Iraq

Right wing apologists will argue that only 19 people were killed and 19 is a pitiful percentage of Iraq’s millions, but imagine if these types of attacks were local. Would anyone argue that “things are just fine” if bombs were killing people in Boston?

‘People like this president,’ Rove said. ‘They’re just sour right now on the war.’Rove said that Bush’s likeability ratings are far higher than his approval ratings.

American Chronicle: Rove Blames Iraq War for Low Bush Numbers

“Likeability ratings” vs. “Approval Ratings”? Is he mad? Maybe its just the stress of his impending trial?

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

No one… no one denies reality with the consistency and vigor as Mark Noonan. It is truly an amazing thing to watch.

That is the gist of a new Newsweek poll which, among other things, alleges that 71% of Americans believe that things are going wrong in the country - an absurd number only possible if you poll San Francisco and New York City exclusively. He’s the Most Unpopular President, Ever!!!
